AM-6:00am Morning jaunt around campus. I’ve been here for well over a year and I can still count on my fingers how many times I’ve been on lower campus. I got into lab a little after 5:30am, set a few things up, and then headed out the door. I thought about doing the City Creek run again but wanted to mix it up. The inversion was in full affect today and that was a bit of a downer. Other than that I just looped in and out of the buildings of lower campus then headed south on 15th for awhile and back. Avg. 8:12 HR 140

PM-7:30pm Toward SH and then random blocks. Long day, only 6hrs of sleep last night and then 11hrs of work today. However, I do feel good. Avg. 7:40 HR 137

Thanks. My body is still getting used to it. I really haven't done this type of mileage since 2000. I've flirted with it but not with the intent of maitaining for so many consecutive weeks. My plan is to maintain +/- 10 of 80 per week until the marathon in April. I'm just focusing on distance at this time. I want to have a good base and focus on speed going into Des News 10K and some fast halves in the fall. I'm feeling good for Del Sol. My legs are heavy with the training and lack of sleep due to work but no aches and pains worth mentioning... Are you fully recovered from the marathon? You seemed to bounce back amazingly well!

Keep up the good running and you will be race ready this year. Hope all is well with your family and that your father in law is still recovering well.

Yeah, I am fully recovered from the marathon...I felt great almost immediately afterwards. I wish I could have felt a bit worse and taken off a few more minutes, oh well. I think it was due to the flat nature of the course which is much easier on the body, but being that flat really burned out the same muscles for the entire run which I was not fully trained for.

Only 4 weeks until Del Sol and warm weather again!
