Busy day... but you did get sleep, and worked and ran. That's a productive day.

Kory said it. regarding the science, my PhD adviser warned me about something he called "the postdoc blues", where the pressures of a new lab and new projects hits you at some point. My postdoc was both stressful and yet a lot of fun too, lots of new responsibilities, mentoring grad students, writing proposals, balancing projects, figuring out how to put together a package to take with you if you go academic. Alot to balance, it's a stressful time but there is light at the end of the tunnel too. keep running to stay mentally sane and I hope to see you on the 24th

I do need the running for the sanity factor. I'll keep plugging along. My main goal is to survive until August. Then if my grants don't come through this last cycle I begin the rat race all over again. My goal though is to get as much done before that happens so that they will have no choice but to give me the money... Are you more teaching salary or grant based?
