Day of rest 2. Today was not so easy to take the day off but my day at work was hectic enough with the short day on Fri and no work on Sat that I kept busy enough during the day and my wife kept me under control and in the house. I did go for a walk around the block with Kaitlyn so I should count that as about 150 cross-training miles but I'll refrain...

Your smart for taking the time off and getting refreshed again. I had a hard time waking up for work, and I'm still tired.

I'm not going heavy this week either and just taking it easy with singles.

Adam - it's always enjoyable to talk to you and just have a good social experience.

Thanks Kory. Always a pleasure to talk to you as well. You'll have to tell me your secret of how you were able to run so fast up that third leg. My legs were trashed...

Adam RW - I didn't know how close the team was behind us so I was determined to get up that hill as fast as I could. Having road kill in front also helped. I also visualized a camp area (Pebble Creek) that we go to every year and I always run up it, but of course not this steep but it helped. But I was definitely glad to be down from that hill. I kept going up after my exchange for the Ragnar leg for another .5 cool-down because I wanted to see how the Ragnar leg felt, and I wanted a chance to not just stop and let my legs seize or something.

It definitely is a hard leg and your glad to be done.
