It seems like it has been forever since I've run to Memory Grove. I had the car this morning so I did the out and back to the overlook. I tried to push the FireHouse Mile but it was a sad showing (6:17). The temp was nice though and always fun to see a nice sunrise after seeing a nice sunset.

cool about the sunrise/sunset combo from wed/thurs. even more impressive in the summer when they are so much closer together. nice job with the fast mile -- maybe not your best firehouse ever, but it's always nice to get the legs going for a bit.

Well then I might be a little closer to you! :o)

P.S. Just looking at your sleep schedule make me sleepy. You need more rest!

Allie, It is nice with the color over the Salt Lake. Only wish it wasn't because of the wild fires to our NW. The best view is from the overpass near Suicide Rock.

Andrea, I was looking forward to another race this year but between two kids and a job that requires no less than 60 h/wk it has been rough. The lack of sleep is a key point that has kept my training down. I know I have made the time to train 60-80 mi/wk but my body just doesn't put up with it right now. I am hoping that I am getting back into it for a spring marathon... Have fun though it is a beautiful course. The full is even nicer because of the colors in the trees at that time of the year.
