It is amazing what a little extra sleep can do. Yesterday turned out to be pretty frustrating with everything getting in the way. But it is over and today is only a half day. As I'm going home early to spend some family time before leaving for the meeting. The run was good. I did my weekly trail run up Dry Creek. It was fun as I passed 5 cyclists on my way up. There were also a number of runners out today. Avg. 8:36 HR 154

Is dry creek the one you acess from the JCC near the med school? That's always crawling with mountain bikes! Anyway it's good to see you churning out 50mpw no problem. I'm running the seattle rock n roll marathon in three weeks, that's my goal race.

Thanks Kory. We made it here after 2hr of delays but so far so good. Tomorrow (later today) I will get the talk behind me and then get to enjoy myself a little.

James, Yes that is the one and yes the cyclists can be a problem. but I would say >80% are pretty cool about the rules of the trail. I'm happy with my progress on the road to health. The running is fine it is just when I try and do faster stuff. So for now I'm really just running for mental health. But hopefully soon for racing again. Good luck in Seattle. You thinking high 2:20 low 2:30?

Hi Adam. I was one of the 2 runners that were going the other way as you were running up and out of Dry Creek that day. I meet you at a Sub Way on the way to the St. George Marathon last year and somehow recognized you as we passed on the trail. Go figure.... If only I could recall important things and not just random runner faces.

Fly, I actually remember that meeting as well. Though I don't remember your name. I hope your training is going well for this time around and that the weather will behave in STG. Do you run the trails often? I've been doing most my runs starting from the hospital between 5:30 and 6:30 as of late.
