Single: Two nights in a row with 8 hrs sleep, it is unheard of. Today was an easy paced day. Morning errands with family then a solo run during naptime. Followed by more family time. Now I'm at work finishing up for my talk next week... Longest run in a few weeks and though I didn't feel "back" I wasn't in pain the whole way either so that is good... Mi 10-R3

I don't know if you feel a rust-buster on the track would be safe, but I'm thinking about Yasso 800s for my last hard workout on Wednesday. If you feel like testing yourself, I wouldn't mind the company. I'm guessing I'll be at 3:00 +/- 5 secs for 10 of them. It will be the first hard workout in several weeks for me that I'll go into without heavy legs.

Very tempting. I was super close to calling you up last night to join you for your long run today but decided the sleep and family time was more important right now. The track sounds good, I need the confidence but the few surges I put in this week tell me not to push my luck. I want to be completely surprised or dissapointed at the line in two weeks... It is amazing how much blog time and e-mails you can get caught up with while in lab at 8:30 on a Saturday night... Ok back to the poster...

8 hours of sleep? Lucky. I think I've had 10-11 hours in 2 nights, combined.

How about I trade you some of my sleep for the great workouts you've done this week :)...

intervals are probably the last kind of workout you should do when you're recovering from injury. good call.

I just finished plating a bunch of transformants, but I'm home now and out of the lab. Good luck with the poster.

Since books came up a couple of weeks ago. I'll toss out a recommendation I purchased and am reading:

"I am a Strange Loop" by Douglas Hofstadter--incredibly stimulating.

Eric, It does look interesting and fits in well with our discussion last run. If I ever finish Atlas Shrugged I'll have to look for a copy (or borrow yours :))...
